John T. Truelove, CPA

Tim has been a resident of Vernon since the age of 3 and graduated from Vernon High School. He attended Texas Tech University before transferring to Midwestern State University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in accounting in 1975. Tim received his Certified Public Accounting license in 1979. He currently holds a certificate from Texas. He joined the firm of Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC in 1975 and became a partner in the firm in 1979. In the Vernon community, Tim has or is serving as: President and Treasurer of Boys and Girls Club of Vernon, President of Wilbarger County United Way, Member of the Board of Meals on Wheels, Member of the Board of Vernon Jaycees, Member and Director of the Rotary Club of Vernon, President and Secretary of Hillcrest County Club, Member of the Board of Greater Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce. Tim is married to the former Janie Dickey. They have three children, Tyler, Cindy and Elizabeth.

Jordan C. Mannon, CPA

Jordan grew up in Lubbock, Texas, where he graduated from Frenship High School in 2016. He stayed in Lubbock to attend Lubbock Christian University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.He began his professional career in Abilene, Texas, after college and earned his Certified Public Accountant's license in August 2021. Jordan and his wife, Caitlin Mannon, moved to Vernon in November 2022, where Jordan began as a staff accountant at Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC. Jordan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jordan and Caitlin attend Wilbarger Street Church of Christ in Vernon.

Oadie Scott Meyers, CPA

A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Scott attended Midwestern State University from which he received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1985. Scott majored in Accounting, and graduated with the honor of Cum Laude by accumulating a grade point average of 3.57. After receiving his degree, Scott came to Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC as a staff accountant. During the years that Scott has been with the firm, he has obtained his Certified Public Accountant's license in March 1989 and has advanced to the position of Accounting and Auditing Manager. He currently holds a certificate from Texas. Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member and past President, 1990-91, of the Vernon Junior Chamber of Commerce and is currently treasurer serving on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Vernon. Scott is married to Nancy Meyers and they have one son, Michael.

Amber Marsh CPA

Amber was raised in the Vernon, Texas area since she was two years old. Amber graduated from Northside High School in 2005. She then attended Angelo State University where she received her Master of Business Administration, as well as her Bachelor of Business Administration, with emphasis in Accounting. Amber graduated from Angelo State University with the honor of Magna Cum Laude in August, 2009. Amber began working with the firm as a staff accountant in July, 2010. While at Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC, she obtained her Certified Public Accountants license in February, 2012. Amber is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Amber is married to Jordan Marsh, and she has one child, Parker and two stepchildren, Tevin and Maliri Marsh.

Michael C. Moore, CPA - Retired 2015

Mike attended Midwestern State University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in accounting in 1972. After serving two years in the United States Army, Mike moved to Vernon and joined the firm of Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC. Mike obtained his Certified Public Accountants license in 1978 and became a partner in the firm in 1979. He currently holds a certificate from Texas. In the Vernon Community, Mike has served as President of the Boys and Girls Club of Vernon, President of the Hillcrest County Club, President of the Vernon Lions Club, President of the Vernon Industrial Foundation, President of the Vernon Wilbarger County Crime Stoppers, President of the Wilbarger County Council of Camp Fire, President of the Holy Family Catholic Church Parish Council, Member of the Board of the Greater Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce and served as Drive Chairman of the Wilbarger County United Way. Mike and his wife Melissa are members of Holy Family Catholic Church in Vernon. They have three children, Erica, Kevin and Alan. Mike retired from ownership at the end of 2015, but remains active with the firm in an employee capacity.

Douglas A. Pharis, CPA - Retired 2024

A native of Crowell, Texas, Doug attended Midwestern State University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in accounting in 1977. Prior to his association with Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC, he attended a computer technical training institute in Dallas and received training in computer operations and programming. Doug obtained his Certified Public Accountants license in 1979. He currently holds a certificate from Texas. He was employed by Moore, Truelove, Pharis, Meyers & Marsh, CPAs, PLLC in 1982 and became a partner in the firm in 1986. In the Vernon Community Doug has or is serving as: Treasurer of Wilbarger County United Fund, Treasurer of the Golden Wings Foundation, Treasurer of the Greater Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the Vernon Meals on Wheels, Director of the Vernon Lions Club, and President and Treasurer of the Wilbarger County Bass Club. Doug and his wife Barbara have 2 sons, Jason and Chad. County Council of Camp Fire, President of the Holy Family Catholic Church Parish Council, Member of the Board of the Greater Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce and served as Drive Chairman of the Wilbarger County United Way.
